Sakura Noodle
Downtown L.A. has so many places to choose from to eat and I think I need to do a little more exploring, but when I need a quick and delicious bite to eat after doing some Japanese food shopping, I always have noodles at Sakura Noodle inside what used to be a Japanese Market, but now is more Korean oriented. You can still find some of the harder to get Japanese items there, but it’s not the same. Sakura Noodle is still a delicious place to get noodles and at a very cheap price. I got a bowl of shrimp tempura udon because I rarely eat those delicious floury fat noodles and the broth that they come in is very good. Brandon had a bowl of pork ramen, which was extremely large and filling for a winter’s afternoon. We also ordered a kroquett to share. Both of us left feeling completely ready to walk a couple of blocks to settle the soup in our full stomachs.
